We’re Hiring:
Social Media Manager
What to Expect
Gyalifest is a Caribbean-rooted, women-centered community built through music, culture and shared experiences. We’re looking for a Social Media Manager to bring that energy into our everyday online presence.
You’ll turn creative plans into a consistent social calendar, write captions that sound like us and keep the conversation going with our audience. Working alongside our creative team and video editor, you’ll help connect our events, content and merchandise through thoughtful, organized social execution.
-
Caribbean women are especially encouraged to apply. Gyalifest centers Caribbean women, and we’re looking for someone who understands the audience we’re speaking to—the music, humor, cultural references and experiences that bring our community together.
You can translate that understanding into captions that sound natural, content that feels relevant and conversations that make people feel welcome. You’re also organized enough to keep a calendar moving, follow up on assets and publish consistently.
You should be comfortable:
Writing engaging captions with a clear, consistent brand voice.
Planning social content around events, releases and community moments.
Coordinating with editors and creatives to get assets ready on time.
Scheduling and publishing posts with accurate details, tags and credits.
Managing comments and DMs with warmth and good judgment.
Reviewing performance and recommending what to improve.
Show us examples of accounts or campaigns you’ve managed and explain your contribution. We want to see both your creative instincts and your ability to follow through.
